- 2015 – June: 2pi baffle for anechoic chamber optimized for none resonant low frequency response
- 2015 – January: Developed advanced dynamic flux modulation simulation tool
- 2014 – November: Completed development of Montana Sound iOS App – Available on App store
- 2014 – October: Invested in FEA super computer & 3D MagNet simulation license
- 2014 – August: Hired Engineer, Master of Science (M.Sc.), Acoustics, Electrical Engineering
- 2014 – January: PointSource Acoustics website in the air.
- 2013 – December: Launching Montana Sound Unit with Airplay.
- 2013 – September: Moved into 300m2 new R&D facilities with office space, conference room, glue laboratory, driver sample laboratory, 2pi anorectic measurement facilities, assembly line, power test room, workshop and stock space.
- 2013 – August: Static BL(x) measurement equipment design and build to measure, verify and control all kind of magnet systems and there nonlinearities.
- 2013 – July: Developed highly advanced transient magnet simulation with motional solver using Finite Element Analyze (FEA) resulting of highly efficient way of predicting distortion (THD 2nd and 3rd harmonics) from magnet systems on idea level.
- 2013 – May: Launching new *6x*8 Montana by PointSource loudspeaker.
- 2013 – May: A new High-End sound system brand “Montana by PointSource” was created.
- 2013 – January IEC268-5 test baffle facilities.

Before May 2009 when Carsten Tinggaard founded PointSource Acoustics he worked for loudspeaker companies such as Peerless Denmark, Danish Sound Technology and Tymphany Worldwide (a merge of the 3 respected Danish speaker brands Peerkess DK, Vifa DK and Scan-Speak).
